A local product has a chance to chase his dream with the Sacramento Kings. Former Modesto Christian star Adrian Oliver announced on Twitter that he has been invited to Kings training camp.
Oliver is the first unofficial camp invitee we’ve heard from so far. The 6′-3 shooting guard played his first two seasons of college basketball in Washington before transferring to San Jose State for his final three seasons. He averaged 24 points per game last season as a senior for the Spartans and shot an impressive 40.9 percent from long range. Beyond his scoring numbers, Oliver averaged an impressive 5.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists a game last season. Good luck to the local kid.
