What to expect from Cowbell Kingdom this 2012-13 NBA season

Last year was a whirlwind for us here at Cowbell Kingdom.  When the lockout ended, covering the 2011-12 Sacramento Kings was a non-stop roller coaster ride.

With some added manpower and technology at our disposal, we were able to add new features last season.  We hope you enjoyed the coverage of the team and arena saga we provided through video, podcasts and written content.

With training camp set to tip off in less than a week, our on-the-ground approach won’t change this upcoming season.  But, we also want to keep you posted on a few upgrades coming soon to Cowbell Kingdom.

One change you’ll notice is CK’s design.  We’re planning to roll out a brand-new layout for the site and we’re working diligently to have it ready by the beginning of the season.  We promise it’ll be just as easy to navigate as our current theme, but more aesthetically pleasing.

You can expect a longer podcast, too.  During the offseason’s lull, we experimented with extending podcasts and some of you have requested a longer show in the past.  That’s something you’ll get this season with an expanded program ranging in 20 to 30 minutes in length, posted every Friday.

There are other new features we’d like to implement this upcoming season, but we’d of course like to hear from you.  What else would you like to see from Cowbell Kingdom this year?  Feel free to email, tweet or leave us a comment  below with your suggestions.
