The hardwood at Sleep Train Arena is getting a facelift. The Sacramento Kings are in the process of updating the look of their court for the upcoming 2014-15 NBA season.
The new court will have sidelines and baselines painted in purple instead of black as well as revamped logos promoting the Sleep Train brand. Center court will feature an updated version of the primary logo the Sacramento Kings have used since the 1994-95 NBA season. The team is having the court prepared inside of a hangar at McLellan Park.
