What to watch
1. Smart rebuttal
In the first half of Monday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Darren Collison struggled to defend stronger, more physical guards Jarrett Jack and Deron Williams. Now the 6-foot, 160-pounder will go up against the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Marcus Smart, and the veteran should try to force the Celtics’ bowling ball to settle for jumpers.
2. Winning inside
Boston attacks the paint without abandon, where they rank third in the NBA in points per game (46.8), but they surrender the second-most points in the league inside as well. The Kings frontcourt is much larger than the Celtics frontline, which may give the visitors an edge.
3. In Corbin we trust?
With news that Kings coach Tyrone Corbin is signed for the rest of the season, the roster must decide if they have his back, or if it’s time to mail it in. Sacramento’s body language versus Brooklyn was troubling to say the least as were the post game comments.
