The Sacramento Kings signed James Anderson to a multiyear contract, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Marc Spears. There is no confirmation yet if the deal is guaranteed.
Anderson, 26, was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs 20th overall in 2010 and has also suited up for the Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers. In 196 appearances (68 starts) over four seasons, the 6-foot-6, 215-pound wing has produced 6.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 18.4 minutes. Anderson spent the 2014-15 season working for BC Zalgiris in Lithuania, averaging 14.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 24 contests.
On June 30 the Kings announced Anderson had joined their 2015 Summer League roster. He will wear #19 at the Las Vegas tournament which begins July 10.
