The Sacramento Kings 2015-2016 season is just around the corner! But before the home opener on October 28th against the Los Angeles Clippers, it’s only right that we project the record for the purple and black.

However, we won’t be doing this alone.

On this episode of the Cowbell Kingdom podcast, it is loaded with three major guests ready to review the Kings’ preseason and expectations for the upcoming season.

But first, there is now a new voice that will be heard every week with Vince Miracle.

He is a stand-up comedian, a Sacramento local, and Kings enthusiast. Welcome our new co-host Daniel Humbarger.

Guest number one is NBA.com writer Scott Howard-Cooper.

Scott and the guys will address the Rajon Rondo comments from last week. Was that a mistake on Rondo’s behalf?

The worry of shooting guard Ben McLemore has been the biggest question mark going into the regular season. But Scott makes a bold statement for the third year guard and believes that McLemore could be in the running for an end-of-the-season award.

Guest number two is none other than Sacramento Bee writer, Jason Jones.

With the Kings announcing that they have released point guard David Stockton, Jason shares his thoughts on the shot blocking, high-motor Eric Moreland who earned the final roster spot.

There were plenty of positives to takeaway from the teams (5-1) preseason record. Jason will name the player that has been the biggest standout from training camp through the preseason, and carrying on into the regular season.

The third and final guest is one of the voices of the Sacramento Kings. You can listen to him Monday through Friday on KHTK (local radio station), Jason Ross.

J-Ross gives us his thoughts on the play of All-Star and franchise big man DeMarcus Cousins through the preseason.

In an interview with Bleacher Report, Cousins said that the MVP title is “mine to grab.” The show turns to Jason to see if he believes if the former Wildcat could really see his name as the leagues most valuable player.

To round out the show, we read off what you (the fans) projected the Kings’ record would be this season.
