The XFL is coming back in 2020, and football fans are already getting excited about it — preparing for less X’s and O’s, and more pure entertainment.
Vince McMahon hold a major press conference on Wednesday, announcing that XFL 2: Electric Boogalo will indeed be a thing in 2020, and discussing which teams would be involved. Here are the teams, and where they’ll be playing (notice some of these venues are soccer stadiums).
Dallas Globe Life Park
Washington, D.C. Audi Field
Seattle CenturyLink Field
St. Louis The Dome at America’s Center
Houston TDECU Stadium
Los Angeles StubHub Center
Tampa Bay Raymond James Stadium
New York MetLife Stadium
Here’s video of the presser, if you’re interested in watching it.
And here’s the official video announcing the eight cities.
