Welcome to this timely edition of the Bearcats BlogCast, the first of 2019. Chris and I talk about Luke Fickell’s being a candidate for the West Virginia job and get to react to the news that Neal Brown will take over the West Virginia position in the same episode. This goes to show that the Bearcats BlogCast of 2019 will be perfectly timed at every turn.
We start the pod by breaking down the Military Bowl. Early talk is highlighted with Hayden Moore’s performance leading the team to victory after the injury to Desmond Ridder. Also much talked about is Michael Warren’s amazing end to an outstanding season. He is so, so, so good. We also hit up a little bit of Mike Denbrock talk and what was up with the defense against Virginia Tech.
From there, we talked about Fickell and West Virginia. It was summarized in the first paragraph but talked about here.
We close the podcast by running down UC’s blowout win over Tulane. There is much gushing about Justin Jenifer. We also debate if Cane Broome should stay in the starting lineup after his jumpstart performance in this game. Chris and I also talk about the clear divide in the league.
You can find the podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play and anywhere else podcasts are found, as we have gone double dipping. If there are more places you want the podcast, I will provide them. As always, thank you for your support. It’s greatly appreciated.
