Go behind the scenes of the UConn football program and you’ll notice a huge change around it.
The culture around the program is entirely different. It’s a complete 180 turn around from where it’s been in the past.
They are no longer teammates, they are brothers. There’s no more cliques. They want to play football, they want to win, they want to make their families, friends, fans, etc. proud of them and their state university football program.
So what does this mean as far as wins and losses are concerned? That cannot be answered just yet.
But with this team being as close as they’ve ever been, that should translate to a better product on the field. You’ll see guys fighting for each other out there, you’ll see offensive guys congratulating defensive guys.
That is the new look of UConn football under head coach Bob Diaco. And it’s here to stay.
Watch and/or listen below as various members of the UConn football team talk about the biggest change (culture) around the program under Diaco.
