Seems the Greenville Drive Mascot which is known as ‘Reedy Rip’It’, a baseball-playing giant frog, has been accused by a fan of grabbing her breast. The woman claimed that the employee, dressed in his Reedy Rip’It costume, groped her in a stairwell at West End Field in Greenville, SC. The fan said the incident happened at a game in April and filed the report a month later. The employee has been charged, with molesting, and is awaiting a trial.
Reading this article the other day made me think of Scott Dinkins and what he use to say….”If you are feeling frog-gy… then jump…” Seems the Frog crossed the line a little, so be careful around mascots sometimes they take their job of bringing smiles to the faces of fans a little too far!
And to follow up on a previous post….what was I thinkin’ with the Michelle Wie post….she withdrew from the tourney, maybe next year or stick to the LPGA….
