South Carolina took out the Dawgs in Game 2 yesterday and put some icing on the cake with a another win. South Carolina defeated Georgia 6-1 at Carolina Stadium to complete a three-game sweep of Georgia.
USC completed the regular season with a 37-19 record overall and finished second in the Southeastern Conference East Division with a 17-13 mark.
USC closed the regular season with a seven-game win streak and Carolina has won 10 of the last 11 games. South Carolina is seeded fifth for next week’s SEC Tournament and will face fourth seeded Alabama, scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 20.
