Gamecocks football begins in 78 days. Sept. 2nd we bear witness to the start of the Gamecocks football season against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.
For our countdown purposes, we highlight number 78 –
#78 was worn by Justin Sorensen when he was a gamecock (pictured taking on UF’s Carlos Dunlap).
He now is a member of the CFL as a member of the offensive line for the BC Lions. He was drafted by the Lions in the first round of the 2008 CFL Draft. As a member of the gamecocks, he made many starts on the right side of the O-line. He should do well for BC as he has the size at 6 foot 7 inches and pushing 320 lbs.
