The ESPN Gameday crew will bring their traveling tailgate show to one of the best spots on THE University of South Carolina’s campus – The Horseshoe.
The Horseshoe is part of the orginial campus when the first 11 buildings were built in a U-shape.
Us here at LOHD was pulling for this location over the fairgrounds, the farmer’s market or the proving grounds. The Horseshoe is very scenic and will provide a very nice back drop for the cameras. It also will allow a lot of students to get to the Gameday site with ease as it is just a short walk from almost any dorm.
Expectations are for a good crowd at the taping along with many storylines from Spurrier v Saban, Lattimore and Ingram to The Horseshoe. Not to mention the fact it is the number 1 team in town to take on the home team in the Gamecocks.
Now the only question left is who the “guest celeb picker” will be? Ric Flair? Darius Rucker of Hootie & the Blowfish? Vanna White is from SC? Kristin Davis (Sex and the City) went to USC? Kevin Garnet is from SC? Who do you think will be the guest picker…..
