The SEC continues to display why it is such a strong conference with the 2010 Heisman going, yet again, to a SEC player and the Gators get a new Head Coach in Will Muschamp.
Our heisman ballot was exactly right – HERE – with Newton on top, Luck second and James third. We are so smart.

In coaching news, Urban as you know is gone (for now) and it seems the Gamecocks will have to battle Will Muschamp now on the recruiting trail as he is the new HC in Gator Nation. I feel it was a good hire but interesting if he was chosen over Stoops and Mullen. I don’t think that was the case but certainly a top pick for UF as Will is probably one of the top choices for any program in the non-head coaching category. Only knock is the experience issue but the plus for him is his passion and strong recruiting stance.
I look forward to the Muschamp vs. Spurrier storylines in 2011.
