Gamecocks Football Recruiting Notes for 10.31.11

The University of South Carolina Gamecocks continue to pursue and keep up with several recruits and here are some notes on them:

Tramel Terry, WR

Junior WR Tramel Terry (6-0 190) of Goose Creek took an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech recently and picked up an offer from the Hokies, his 14th offer.   Terry went to Tennessee this past Saturday for the USC game, and he will go to Alabama the next weekend for the LSU game. Also he will be at the Clemson-USC game next month. Terry, who was a Georgia commitment before de-committing last month, said there is no order to the schools.  So far this season, Terry has 700 rushing yards and about 700 yards receiving.

Here is a video of him thus far this season:

Keith Marshall, RB

Keith Marshall, the no. 1 RB in the country plans to be in Columbia on Nov. 12.  He doesn’t know if it will be an official or unofficial yet.

Jordan Diggs, DB

Jordan Diggs (6-1 194) of Cape Coral, FL will reschedule his official visit to USC that was planned for the Florida game.

Chris Brown, WR

Chris Brown (6-2 185) of Hannahan is sticking to the Fighting Irish.  He committed to Notre Dame a few weeks back but continued to hear from USC. He had considered a visit to Columbia but has now decided against it thus sticking to ND.

Adam Ah Ching, LB

Adam Ah Ching, out of Greer, SC, is now getting looked at by USC. Coach Shawn Elliot is looking at him, especially after the type season he is having – 155 total tackles and 6 sacks. No date for a visit has been set. Ah Ching said he has firm, committable offers from Utah, BYU, Colorado and Georgia Tech. He’s also hearing from Arizona, Washington and Oregon State. He has not scheduled any official visits and does not have a favorite.

Nick St. Germain, K

USC may, due to the need, give a scholly to a kicker. If they decide to, one candidate is Nick St. Germain of Marietta, GA. Germain is 9-14 on field goals, 34-34 on extra points, and he has 40 touchbacks on 50 kickoffs. He plans to take an unofficial visit for the Florida game.
