With the return of a healthy Mathieu Garon, the Tampa Bay Lightning reassigned goaltender Cedrick Desjardins to the Syracuse Crunch today.
Desjardins played in his first NHL game of the season on Saturday night as the Lightning lost 4-3 to the Montreal Canadiens. It was Desjardins his first start since the 2010-11 season. He made 25 saves on 29 shots.
