Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nate Thompson has been suspended for two games for an illegal hit on Matt D’Agostini. Thompson will miss games versus the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes for an illegal check to the head. No penalty was called on the play and Thompson is a first time offender.
