The Syracuse Crunch is going to the American Hockey League’s final four.
The Crunch took the express lane there on Friday night with a 5-2 win over Springfield to finish off a sweep of the Falcons in the Eastern Conference semifinals in front of 5,091 fans in the War Memorial.
J.T. Wyman scored twice and Mark Barberio, Matt Taormina and Dan Sexton potted one apiece as the Crunch swept its second straight series, this one by a 4-0 tally. The Crunch is 7-0 in the playoffs.
