Tampa Bay Lightning GM Steve Yzerman continues to prepare the organization for future success as he signed Swiss forward Reto Suri to a one year, two way contract for the 2012-14 season.
The 24 year old, speedster played in the Swiss National League A last season accumulating 14 goals and 11 assists in 48 games. Suri was a big reason why the Swiss won the silver medal at the World Championships where he led the team in goals and scored two shootout goals in the upset of Canada.
Suri will play one more season in Switzerland to have the best chance to play on the Swiss national team in the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
The Bolts hold his rights for three years.
