The NBC Sports Network released their broadcast schedule for the 2014-15 NHL season today. NBC Sports Group will feature over 100 regular season games for the upcoming year. The Tampa Bay Lightning will be featured in five of those national broadcasts.
Tampa’s National TV Schedule is as follows:
Tues. Dec 2 — at Buffalo — 7:30 p.m.
Mon. Dec 15 — at Pittsburgh — 7 p.m.
Tues. Jan 27 — at Carolina — 7:30 p.m.
Tues. March 3 — vs. Buffalo — 7:30 p.m.
Sat. April 11 — vs. Boston — TBD
The NHL’s tv schedule will kick off on Wednesday October 8th with a double header on NBCSN. The Boston Bruins will face the Philadelphia Flyers followed by the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings versus the San Jose Sharks. (Photo/ Alexis Boucher)
NBC will have the broadcast of the upcoming Winter Classic from Washington DC. The Chicago Blackhawks will meet the hometown Washington Capitals on January 1st.
The NHL All Star Game returns for the first time since 2012. NBCSN will have coverage of the weekend’s festivities set to take place at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
