Fan Fest is this Saturday and according to beat writer Erik Erlendsson:
In addition to a noon scrimmage, other activities will take place Saturday during Fan Fest at Amalie Arena, highlighted by the unveiling of the new third jersey – with black as the primary color – by captain Steven Stamkos at 11:45 a.m.
Players will be divided into three groups for 45-minute practice sessions at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Yzerman, owner Jeff Vinik and coach Jon Cooper will hold interview sessions in the arena at 10:30 a.m., 11:45 a.m. as 12:45 p.m., respectively. A broadcasters’ roundtable will start at 11 a.m. inside Firestick Grill featuring former captain Dave Andreychuk, radio announcer Dave Mishkin and television analyst Bobby “The Chief’’ Taylor.
A kids zone will be open from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and a high school shootout will take place at 12:45 p.m.
The day will conclude with player autograph sessions on the main concourse at 1:15 and 2 p.m. and a sled hockey game from 2-3:30 p.m.
Lightning alumni will also sign autographs outside in the plaza starting at 9 a.m., prior to the doors opening at 9:20 a.m.
The event is free, with discounted $5 parking in all Lightning-owned lots and discounted concessions.
There will be a used equipment sale, and fans may pre-order the new third jersey, which will be available for pickup in mid-November.
