During the current homestand the Tampa Bay Lightning will join forces with the Marine Corps Reserve to help make the holidays happier for local children. In what has become an annual tradition, fans are invited to donate new toys to this worthy cause.

Fans who would like to participate can bring new toys to the games on Saturday December 6th and Tuesday December 9th. Those who donate will receive a ticket voucher to an upcoming Lightning game on January 10th, 15th or 20th. The Toys for Tots truck will be on Ford Thunder Alley with donation boxes on the plaza.

Each year the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots programs goal is to collect new, unwrapped toys in the months of October, November and December. They then distribute the toys to needy children in the community where the campaign took place. (Photo/ Alexis Boucher)
