Checking in on the Dolphins

NFL 2016 moves into its sixth week with everyone around the sort going crazy. This includes the fans and players as well. The same excitement can be seen on the billboards all across the country where the players are endorsing a million products. It is simple, football sells in America and everyone is taking advantage of it. The bookies too are on board as the season goes into top gear. They are placing bets on every game possible and you can do it too. However if you are not a sports person you can always play the best favorite game here.

The Miami Dolphins is a professional football team in the NFL (National Football League). It plays as a member club of the American Football Conference, East Division. Their home pitch is located in Miami Gardens Florida at Hard Rock Café Stadium. The Club was established in 1965 and played its first season in 1966. Initially they started off their journey from the Miami Orange Bowl before shifting to the Hard Rock café Stadium in 1986. They have won many trophies over the years which include:

  1. Two Super Bowls championships
  2. Five conference championships
  3. Thirteen division championships

The season of 2016 has not been very kind to them as they have just won one game out of the five played. They are currently sitting at the fourth spot on the table and are feared to drop more if they don’t turn around their fortunes against the mighty Steelers on the 16th. The match will be played in front of a capacity crowd in the Hard Rock Café Stadium. This game will not be easy as the Steelers are difficult to beat in any weather or turf.

The Dolphins lost their last match which was against the Titans. They need to direct that defeat and learn from the mistakes that were made. Some of the areas which need improvement include a better rushing game along with strong pressure game on offense and defense. They also need to reduce negative plays in order to be successful. Their offensive line needs to start showing u if they have want a shot at the playoffs. At current form and record, the post-season looks a million miles away from the Dolphin’s reach.
