GAME NOTES: A tight one-run game the day previous gave us all notice that maybe it’s not exactly offense we always need. Timely pitching and good defense take away runs, and it takes the pressure off the O to create runs. I’m still not used to the offense not being insane 1-9, but if the results of games keep rolling out W’s for the Sox, I’m all for it.
