GAME NOTES: Mike Lowell had three doubles to ring in the Fenway opener yesterday with Beckett providing the pitching after a shaky first inning. David Wells is going to start off his 2006 season in what has to be his favorite park now (still want to blow it up?) … the park is truly beautiful, and I’m looking forward to sharing with all of you the pictures and video I took of the game. Check back Friday for that, plus some analysis of players on these pages, which has been lacking in our excitement of recapping wins! Not that that’s a bad thing, of course. I’ll take recapping wins over analyzing why we lose.
