GAME NOTES: Timmeh! Not bad, eh? The knuckler is shutting down opposing lineups so far this season to the tune of a 1.35 ERA over three starts and a tiny number of hits surrendered. For the weekday matinee, Julian Tavarez toes the rubber against Roy Halladay. Julian could come out firing, which could be a bad thing if he’s wild, because there is a very short leash on his number of starts. He’s had a long period to rest and we could be surprised when Tavarez delivers with a quality outing. Unfortunately, he might have to do more to win the game against Halladay, a Cy Young contender and dominating right hander. It would be nice to squeeze out a series win in Toronto….
