GAME NOTES: This team so far has shown an unwillingness to give up. A constant battle to come back. It means that you can’t stop watching the game until the final out because this team may just find a way to win it all. On a day where Schilling walked only two and K’d eight in 6.2 IP, he managed to give up five earned runs to make this a close game in a margin of 8-6. Foulke continued his effectiveness, Timlin did his job, and Papelbon nailed down the save. With Wakefield heading up against Lee tomorrow, Wily Mo Pena and Dustan Mohr should draw starts (seriously, can someone PLEASE tell me why Willie Harris is starting over Mohr v. RHP?) making this a nice lineup to give Tim Wakefield some runs, something he’s been lacking the last three starts.
