Boston Red Sox (31-20) @ Detroit Tigers (36-18)
GAME: 7:05 PM EDT at Comerica Park

RESULT OF PRIOR GAME
Boston Red Sox 11, Detroit Tigers 7 (W: David Wells, L: Nate Robertson)
Sox Star of the Game: David Ortiz- 5 AB, 3 H, 2 R, 3 RBI, 1 HR
Game Notes: After a no-win game that we somehow won against the Blue Jays Wednesday night, the Sox look to rebound against the surprising Detroit Tigers. Though the potential for some improvement was there heading into the season, no one could have predicted that the Tigers would be going into June with the majors’ best record; the Tigers have done it with pitching, allowing the fewest runs in the majors (199 heading into action Thursday night). The Sox will face Kenny Rogers, who has surprised many by still being able to pitch. Let’s hope no one on the Sox brought their camera; the DL is too full already.
