Game Notes: Reeling from a sweep by the struggling Minnesota Twins, the Sox now slide head-on into a five-series interleague sweep. I promise I won’t write another huge long article about how much I HATE interleague play: let’s just leave it at the fact that I really really do. This year, we’ll be seeing a different kind of Braves club – one that isn’t going to win their division. Whether that will matter to a team that just got swept by the Twins remains to be determined. Rookie Jon Lester gets the second start of his MLB career tonight; apparently Josh Beckett took him out to dinner last night, and gave him tips on how to bring his low-6 ERA down all the way to the mid-5’s.
