Game Notes: Tomorrow’s game marks the midway point in the season for the Red Sox. I would give the Red Sox an A-/B+ grade for the first half. They stand 4 up on the Yanks, 5 on the Blue Jays and look to be pretty well-rounded to finally win the AL East division crown. Then again the Blue Jays are hanging around, the Yanks will get Matsui and Sheffield back soon enough, so this thing is far FAR from over. Should be an entertaining second half. Some predictions:
AL East- Boston, Central- Chicago, West- Oakland, Wild Card- Detroit
NL East- NY Mets, Central- St. Louis, West- San Francisco, Wild Card- Houston
World Series: Chicago White Sox over New York Mets (it pains me)
