Game Notes: We let a winnable game slip away last night, and most of the blame should be put on Terry Francona’s inability to manage a bullpen. Especially when Ken Macha made all the right moves for Oakland. Frustrating. Why Delcarmen wasn’t pitching the 7th and Papelbon the 11th is beyond me. Anyway, the Sox face a tough lefty tonight in Barry Zito, so expect runs to come at a minimum. We need Josh Beckett to show his Ace stuff tonight in order to pull out a victory.
