Game Notes: First West Coast swing of the year, don’t ya love it! Nothin like going to bed at 130 AM depressed about a loss. Kidding, of course. The Red Sox will be shorthanded the next few days while reluctantly having to rely on Kyle Snyder tonight and Kason Gabbard, I’m guessing, Saturday. Moyer is still delivering at his old age with a solid ERA and will be a tough challenge for the Red Sox lineup that has trouble with LHP. It’s good to be 2.5 up in first, though.
