Feathers Up
Not much to write here. The 7 1/3 innings pitched by Bauer was a career high. Previous high was 7 IP on 7/8 against the Yankees. He is lengthening his arm and ready to end the season on a good note.
Chris Dickerson had a pinch hit walk in the bottom of the ninth which set up a game tying two-run homerun by Murphy. What was most impressive about the walk was that he started the at-bat being down in the count 0-2. Murphy is now 12 for 26 with HR, 6 doubles and 7 RBI against his former team this season.
Michael Brantley finished the Tribe comeback with a 12th inning homerun. It was the second walkoff homer for Brantley this season. It was also the 7th walk off win for Tribe this season and 5th in extra innings.
