GAME NOTES: Ortiz wasn’t looking too good … then it suddenly became a moot point. On pace for 59 HR, he could break the AL record of 61, and become the “true Home Run King” if he keeps this up. Word on Doug Mirabelli is that he’s day to day, and we’ll see Javy Lopez tomorrow for sure. With 13 pitchers on staff (why?) I would hope we see a roster change tomorrow (Bryan Corey, Kyle Snyder?)
