Chris Davis’ 14.1% swinging-strike rate and 34.4% strikeout rate aren’t much different than past years, but his 41 wRC+ and .106 ISO are stark contrasts from what’s expected. The concerns should mostly lie in the negative regression we can see in his batted-ball profile.

His 34.9% fly-ball rate is on track to decrease for the third consecutive year, while his 33.0% hard-hit rate would be the first time it’s not at least 40.0% since 2014 if this pace continues. Davis isn’t performing particularly well anywhere, but he has just an 18 wRC+ at Camden Yards through 83 home plate appearances.
