2 is also the number of Muppet scientists BERT used to lead his research team as they investigated whether hurry-up offenses caused more injuries than real, American offenses.  While BERT claims to have said numbers that prove it, all we know right now from the research is that one of the Muppet scientists once ate some paper clips and later set his hair on fire.
