If you were pressed to name the two most famous Badger hockey players of all-time, chances are the majority of people would name Tony Granato and Chris Chelios. Well, look out NHL in 2015-16, because the dynamic Badger duo is going to be on the same bench next season.
According to a Tweet from the official Detroit Red Wings account, the former Badger greats have been announced as assistant coaches with the organization.

Chelios has been working in the Red Wings’ front office since his retirement in 2010 and was also recently named an assistant coach for team USA’s entrant in the 2016 World Junior Championships. Granato has had two stints as a head coach in the NHL, both with the Colorado Avalanche.
