The 2011 NBA Draft Combine takes place next week in Chicago at renowned trainer Tim Grover’s Attack Athletics facility.  The list of all 54 participants was released earlier today.

Notes

  • Lucas Riva Nogueira is the only “true” international prospect participating.  Jeremy Tyler, a big man who left high school after his junior year to pursue a pro career overseas, is also attending.
  • Bismack Biyombo, Jonas Valanciunas, Donatas Motiejunas and Davis Bertans are not attending.  All four players are projected to be chosen in the first round in Draft Express’ latest mock.
  • 50 attendees are projected to be drafted according to Draft Express’ latest mock.  Nine are projected lottery picks.
  • Scott Schroeder of Ridiculous Upside noted that 48 of the 53 hopefuls who attended last year were either drafted or played in the league this year.

The combine starts next Wednesday, May 18th and finishes Saturday the 22nd.
