Leo was a total surprise in the scholarship offer department. It was widely rumored that he was going to be a preferred walk-on at Wisconsin, but there were rumblings of an offer coming from Pitt and an offer came last week and Musso excepted. He’s another one of those pesky homegrown Wisconsin kids that just seem to produce and he could be another one that just gets it done, only time will tell.

Quick Thoughts:
– It’s clear that Wisconsin sees something in Leo, but the question is what position does he play at Wisconsin. I’m not sure if he fits in at the Running Back spot but it could be a good move to Safety ala Jim Leonhard.
– Wisconsin had him as a preferred walk-on but upped the ante so to speak after rumors of another major conference offer coming in the last few weeks of the recruiting process and as such it’s now a full ride. I really like his production and if you’ve watched the state high school playoffs in this state then you should be very familiar with his exploits and he ran all over the competition for the past few seasons.
