We’ve already heard a lot on Josh Gordon out of Baylor/Utah getting all the attention for the Supplemental Draft thanks to his elite skill set. And his other likely NFL worthy Supplemental Draft partner, TCU’s Ed Wesley, has some attention as well.
While the rest of the six Supplemental Draft prospects likely don’t have much of a shot to both get picked or wow early in their careers, it’s certainly worth examainign their abilities.

Adam Harris, Fullback, Syracuse
Harris was a starting fullback and a potential NFL undrafted free agent if he was able to continue his career at Syracuse as a fullback. But after having three concussions in his junior year, he decided to give up football, like a wise move. He even took up a new sport, joining the Syracuse Track and field team. Unsure if teams will even consider him after the Supplemental Draft thanks to his concussion issues, but he’s the best of the remaining talents.
Larry Lumpkin, ILB, Alabama A&M
Played well last year for Alabama A&M (team’s 5th leading tackler), Lumpkin was set to be a team leader on a solid FCS school. However, Lumpkin asked to be released from his scholarship this off-season to transfer, but now seems to have chose the Supplemental Draft route. This is the second time he’s asked to released in the last two years, but coaches took him back a year ago. Coaches seem to feel he has a sense of entitlement which is the reason for the transfer/release request.
Quaylon Ewing-Burton, CB, Boise State
Ewing-Burton was set to make an impact as a depth defensive back for a Boise State program known for pumping out NFL players at that position. He even got a start last year. But thanks to off the field issues (was suspended multiple times in high school) he was dismissed from the Boise State program. He has the talent to maybe get a shot in another league.
Montez Robinson, DE/OLB, Georgia
Robinson was going to be a depth rush linebacker for the Bulldogs this season, but after a second alcohol related arrest in two years, along with being put in jail for simple battery/family violation, Robinson has been kicked off the team. Likely not in the NFL mix, he may have a shot elsewhere.
Adrian Haugton, DT, Iowa State
The 6’4, 360 pound defensive tackle already was set to play in the AFL this year as a rookie, but appears to have been able to get some NFL attention. Not really a prospect, Haughton likely will have to stay in the AFL and earn his stripes there.
Houston Tuminell, WR, Louisiana Tech
Tuminell quit the team in 2009 after getting some playing time that season. He was a First-Team All-East Texas receiver in high school and certainly had the talent to thrive in the now solid Louisiana Tech program.
