Outlook:

This projection for the Billikens might be a bit too lofty now that it’s been revealed that head coach Rick Majerus will be taking this season off for medical reasons.  But there is still plenty for Saint Louis fans to be hopeful for.  From last year’s team that knocked off Memphis in the NCAA Tournament and lost a close one to Michigan State, five key players return.  Leading the list is Third Team All-Atlantic 10 member Kwamain Mitchell, as well as All-Defensive team stalwart Jordair Jett.  The Billikens are talented, and more importantly, experienced, which should serve them well this season without Majerus guiding them.
