2013-14 Chicago Bulls Season Preview

thomas2010

Last year, the Chicago Bulls finished with a record of 45-37. That was really good. They were missing their star point guard, Derrick Rose, for the entire season too. It’s really impressive that they could do that well without him. It looks like they are setup for a good season in 2013-14.

Bulls 2013-14 MVP Prediction: Derrick Rose: Last year, Derrick Rose missed the entire season. He is very healthy right now, and will be ready for the 2013-14 season. Rose has been a really good assist man over the course of his career. He is always finding creative ways to set people up, and that’s what I love about him. He has been one of the best point guards in the game over the years, and I think that he will come back strong this season.

3 Players That Bulls Fans Need To Look Out For:

  • Tony Snell: Tony Snell was drafted 20th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft. He is a 6 foot 7 forward. In his final year with the University of New Mexico, he averaged 12.5 points, 2.9 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game. He made 39% of the 3 point shots that he took. He was a pretty good college player. I think that he will have a good season with the Bulls this year. He will be a great scorer off of the bench.
  • Derrick Rose: Derrick Rose missed the entire season last year. The Bulls still did pretty good without him, but with him I am sure that they would’ve been a contender for an NBA title. That’s why I think he is so key. If he is healthy for the majority of this season, then I am positive that the Bulls will go deep into the playoffs.
  • Luol Deng: Luol Deng is a 28 year old small forward. He is a great player, but he has actually been involved in a lot of trade talks. The Bulls aren’t sold on him, and they don’t know if he is a long term option for them. I think that they are pretty silly for thinking about trading him, but that’s just me. He needs to have a great season this year, to prove that he is good enough to be signed to a long term deal.

2013-14 Bulls Season Prediction: 50-32: I think that this team is really talented. They have a few good players, like Derrick Rose, Luol Deng, and Joakim Noah. They won 45 games without Rose last year, and with him this year, I know that that will increase. This Bulls team is going to be very dangerous this year.
