The Cleveland Cavaliers had a record of 24-58 last season. Over the offseason, they signed Andrew Bynum. Bynum was a mess last year, but he seems to be healthy and I think he’s going to be great this year.

Cavaliers 2013-14 MVP Precition: Kyrie Irving: Last year, Kyrie Irving averaged 22.5 points, 5.9 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He is one of the best point guards in the league, and I think he has a chance at being the NBA’s MVP this season. His assists weren’t too high last season, but the Cavs did sign Andrew Bynum over the offseason, and I think that that will help Irving a lot.

3 Players That Cavaliers Fans Need To Look Out For:

  • Kyrie Irving: Kyrie Irving is an amazing point guard, but he has struggled with injuries over the course of his short NBA career. If he can stay healthy for most of this upcoming season, then I think that the Cavs will have a great season.
  • Andrew Bynum: Andrew Bynum was signed by the Cavs during the offseason. He has had a lot of medical issues in the past. 76ers fans will never forget what they went through with Andrew Bynum. That is behind him now though, and I think that he is going to be really good this season. He just needs to stay healthy, and that’s why the Cavs fans need to look out for him this season.
  • Anthony Bennett: Anthony Bennett was drafted first overall in the 2013 NBA Draft, by the Cavaliers. He is a forward out of UNLV. He was an amazing player in college, and I am pretty sure that that will translate over to the NBA. The only problem with him, is that he doesn’t put enough effort into his defense. He is a mediocre defender, and the Cavs have recently hired Mike Brown as their head coach. Brown focuses on defense a lot, and Bennett will really have to make an effort if he wants to please Brown. It will be interesting to see how they get along.

2013-14 Cavaliers Season Preview: 45-37: This Cavs team improved a lot over the offseason, and that’s why I predicted that they would have such a good record this season. I think that this team will have a legitimate chance of going deep into the playoffs. A team with Andrew Bynum, Kyrie Irving, Anderson Varajo, Jarrett Jack, and Anthony Bennett, is a good team.
