Last year, the Denver Nuggets finished the season with a record of 57-25. That is amazing. Over the offseason though, their shooting guard from last year, Andre Iguodala, signed with the Golden State Warriors, so his presence will definitely be missed in Denver. They do still have a few great pieces though, so I am expecting another good season from them this year.
Nuggets 2013-14 MVP Prediction: Kenneth Faried: Kenneth Faried (also known as Manimal) is a six foot eight power forward out of Morehead State. This upcoming season will be his third season in the NBA. Last year with the Nuggets, he averaged 11.5 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. That is very good. That’s exactly what you want to see out of a power forward. He is dominant in the paint, and can actually shoot some jumpers. He also has the ability to add a little bit of flare to his dunks, and that makes him very fun to watch. I am expecting Manimal to have a really good season this year, just like last year.
A Player That Nuggets Fans Need To Look Out For This Season: Evan Fournier is a six foot six shooting guard for the Denver Nuggets. This season will be his second season in the NBA. Fournier didn’t get much playing time last season, because Andre Iguodala was the starting shooting guard for the Nuggets. Well Iguodala is gone now, and Fournier is the starting shooting guard. The reason that I think that Nuggets fans need to look out for him this season is that the Nuggets need him to do well. Andre Iguodala was one of the main reasons that the Nuggets had a 57-25 record last season, and without him, they’re going to need somebody to step up. I think Fournier could be that guy, and that’s why Nuggets fans need to look out for him this season.
Nuggets 2013-14 Season Prediction: 53-29: The Nuggets had a record of 57-25 last year. That is very good, but their offseason was very bland. The only major thing that happened to them was that they lost their star shooting guard, Andre Iguodala. Iguodala was very talented, and I know that the Nuggets are going to miss him dearly. The Nuggets were very good with Iguodala, and without him I still think that they’re a good team. One player can only do so much, and that’s why I think the Nuggets are going to have a record of 53-29 this season.
