Last year, the Golden State Warriors finished the season with a record of 47-35. That is very good. They also had a nice offseason, in which they signed star shooting guard Andre Iguodala. I feel like the Warriors improved their team over the offseason, and that they’re set up for a great season this year.
Warriors 2013-14 MVP Prediction: Stephen Curry is a six foot three point guard out of Davidson. This season will be his fifth season in the NBA. Curry averaged 22.9 points, 6.9 assists, and 4 rebounds per game with the Warriors last season. He made 45% of the three pointers that he shot, too. That is one of the best three point percentages that I have ever seen. He was electric. He could also assist other players. He is a top three point guard in this league, and that is why I think he will be the most valuable player for the Warriors this season.
A Player That Warriors Fans Need To Look Out For This Season: Andrew Bogut: Andrew Bogut is a seven foot center out of Utah. This season will be his ninth in the NBA. Bogut is a guy that used to be great. At a time, he had three straight season that he averaged a double double. That’s very good. Since then though, he has been tormented by injuries and hasn’t performed very well. Last season, he averaged 5.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Don’t get me wrong, that’s not too bad, but it’s definitely not what he can do when he is 100% healthy. Will the injury bug torment Andrew Bogut again this season? We’ll see!
Warriors 2013-14 Season Prediction: 50-32: The Warriors had a nice offseason. They signed Andre Iguodala, and they didn’t lose anything big. I think that Iguodala was a great signing by Warriors General Manager Bob Myers. I believe that their good offseason has set them up for a great season this year, and that is why I am predicting that they will have a very stellar record of 50-32.
