Last year, the Indiana Pacers finished the season with a 49-32 record. That’s really good. They didn’t do too much over the offseason, other than re-signing their best player, Paul George to a six year contract. Since their offseason was rather bland, I am expecting a season similar to their season last year.
2013-14 Pacers MVP Prediction: Paul George: Paul George is a 23 year old shooting guard out of Fresno State. He averaged 17.4 points, 4.1 assists, and 7.6 rebounds per game with the Pacers last season. That is really good. He is a very talented player, and I consider him to be one of the most all around great players in the NBA. He is only 23 years old too, so he is still on the rise. That is why I think that he will be the most valuable player on this Pacers team this year.
A Player That Pacers Fans Need To Look Out For This Season: Danny Granger: Danny Granger is a 30 year old small forward out of New Mexico. In the 2011-12 season, he averaged 18.7 points and 5 rebounds per game. Last season, he averaged 5.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. That is because he only played in five games, because of injuries. Can he keep his injuries down and be successful this season? We’ll see!
Pacers 2013-14 Season Prediction: 50-32: This Pacers team is filled with talent and potential. They have guys like Paul George, Roy Hibbert, and Danny Granger who are very capable of being great players in this league. They also have guys like David West and George Hill who are good players. I like this Pacers team a lot, and I think that they are going to be a huge threat to the Miami Heat this season.
