Indiana Pacers point guard George Hill has been cleared to play tonight against the New York Knicks. The Pacers look to clinch their 2013 NBA Playoffs series tonight, as they are up East semifinals 3-2.
This is a pivotal matchup in the series for Indiana as they have an opportunity to close the series out at home, possibly avoiding a trip to Madison Square Garden for Game 7 in the process.
Hill will be a better defensive option than backup point guard D.J. Augustin and is a better playmaker than the former Texas Longhorn. The presence of Hill will probably get the Pacers’ offense running smoothly throughout the game and Hill will most likely get center Roy Hibbert easy shots during the game.
Hibbert’s series has been marred by inconsistency.
Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals will start at 5 PM PT/8 PM PT on ESPN. The winner of this series will face the defending champion Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.
