2013 Senior Bowl Gameday Preview: What To Watch for the South Roster

Bacarri RamboI always check the running backs vs. linebacker battles on gameday, I’m excited to see Vince Williams and Nico Johnson control the inside after a bit week…For the running backs, Stepfan Taylor, Mike Gillislee, and Mike James all stood up well in pass protection this week. We’ll see if they can on gameday….At quarterback, I’ll be checking Tyler Wilson’s accuracy, EJ Manuel’s control under pressure, and Landry Jones’s velocity on the outside….Terron Armstead will have another all-star game to impress in, and he and Lane Johnson should have their handful as the two best pass blockers on the South roster….While they likely won’t too much, the Georgia safeties Bacarri Rambo and Shawn Williams were the two top safeties for the South this week, and watching them play one more time together could cause trouble for receivers/quarterbacks in terms of timing and reactions.
