AUGUSTA – Thanks to a solid final-round 69, Bubba Watson held off 20-year-old Jordan Spieth and Jonas Blixt of Sweden to win his second Masters title in three years.
Waston, who burst onto the national scene with a breakout win in 2012, finished eight under par to win a drama-filled Masters that saw Blixt and Speith both finish five under par—three strokes behind Watson.
With the win, Watson joins an élite group of multiple winners including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Nick Faldo, Tiger Woods, Sam Snead, Phil Mickelson and Ben Hogan.
