The NFL Draft is still a few weeks away so that gives teams some more time to workout many players. For the Philadelphia Eagles, it gives them a chance to improve their team after coming off of an NFC East crown and a 10-6 record.
According to ESPN Insider Adam Caplan, Nebraska guard Spencer Long has a visit with the Philadelphia Eagles among other teams.

Many analysts see Long as being drafted on Day 3 of the NFL Draft and the Eagles always like drafting offensive lineman for the present and future. In terms of Long, he suffered a knee injury in October so it will be interesting to see how well he will be able to perform for the Eagles and other teams.
Long is a 6-fo0t-4, 315 lb offensive lineman that I can see the Eagles taking a look at or drafting. He walked on to the football team in 2009 and then was redshirted. Between the 2011-2013 seasons, he played in majority of the games. In 2011, he started all 13 games and played right guard and did the same thing in 2012 but played through a torn meniscus.
Spencer Long is a big physical blocker and is best in the phone booth where he excels as a pass and run blocker.
